Bed of Roses is very much a journey of the spirit and what happens when someone's life goes topsyturvy. For me, it is the end of what has been a very difficult journey.
As an artist I think in pictures not words, so this part of the exhibition is a diary of how I felt and what I was thinking in the very early days of my cancer diagnosis and treatment.
So this work is about a transformation, one that is positive and with a lot of hope . . . but with everything, who knows where the journey will end.
